Bringing Broadway and Tourism Back to NYC with Women Leading the Charge

New York City is famously resilient, having weathered economic cycles throughout history, always coming back stronger than before. This time, there are more women in charge!

Working together, the City's leaders have grand plans to build back tourism. NYC & Company has recently launched the largest ever global tourism recovery campaign, "It's Time for NYC," spending some $30 million, Broadway opened up last week after 18 months of closure, supported with the release of the “This is Broadway,” a short film narrated by Oprah Winfrey, celebrating Broadway’s history and return to the stage.

We checked in about the reopening of New York City with Charlotte St. Martin, President, The Broadway League, Marlene Poynder, General Manager, Conrad New York Downtown, Sofia Vandaele, General Manager, Intercontinental NY Barclay, and Becky Hubbard, General Manager, LOTTE New York Palace about rebuilding tourism with more women at the helm.
